Our October 2023 tour began in Paris enjoying some of the iconic tourist destinations, before we headed east via Reims and a night in Nancy to Germany, first stop Stuttgart – home of Porsche and Mercedes-Benz.
Some travelled on via beautiful Strasbourg. We headed up to the Eiffel Mountains and the famous Nurburgring racetrack where our hotel overlooking the circuit gave great viewing – including of participant laps of the challenging, exciting track…
A visit to the amazing Sinsheim Technik Museum provided an insight to a staggering collection.
From there, we headed to The Netherlands, destination The Hague, home of the world’s best car museum, the Louwman Museum. A day off saw some participants visit Amsterdam.
Next destination was Belgium, staying in a beautiful clifftop hotel in Liege. A track day at Spa Francorchamp provided excitement for all. In Brussels we visited the huge Autoworld museum which had a special Bugatti display among the hundreds of cars there.
Final destination was Paris again, where we’d arranged a visit to the Citroen Conservatoire and Tour Director gave a guided tour of the huge collection, describing the history as we went.
Our group ranged in age from 26 to 92! All of us enjoyed a wonderful adventure.
